Deloitte is looking for a Back-End Developer, to join our Future Of Work Digital Workplace Group.
About the Role
- Design and Implement Solutions: Take full ownership of feature sets from initial discussion through to client delivery, focusing on scalable solutions to complex problems.
- Core Product Development: Participate in the development of core products, influencing their look and behavior.
- Scalable Solutions: Develop scalable solutions with a focus on dedication, data integrity, and an enjoyable developer experience.
- Project Leadership: Lead project planning, achievements, designs, and estimations, working collaboratively with team members, PMs, and other collaborators to ensure successful delivery on time and within budget.
- Production Standards: Maintain high standards for production systems, emphasizing testing, monitoring, and alerting to ensure system stability.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product managers, data scientists, and other engineers to integrate cutting-edge AI capabilities into our products.
- Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Innovation: Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure our solutions remain innovative and effective.
- Agile Environment: Express yourself and bring your personal experience and knowledge into an agile, diverse team.
- Integration Layer: Craft architecture and tools for the integration layer with external systems, handling large-scale clients and client data.
- Feature Delivery: Take features from definition to client delivery, ensuring quality and understanding complexities from top to bottom.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications
- Experience: 4+ years of industry experience with Python, Java, Go, or Node.js.
- Frontend Technologies: Experience with React or Vue.
- DevOps: Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes (k8s), and ArgoCD.
- Queueing Systems: Experience with modern queueing systems like RabbitMQ, Celery, or Kafka.
- System Architecture: Deep knowledge in system architecture, design, and building for scale.
- Testing: Experience with test-driven development (TDD).
- Database Management: Experience with SQL and/or No-SQL databases.
- API Integration: Experience integrating with third-party APIs.
- Self-Driven: Ability to deliver solutions independently and in partnership with internal and external development teams.
- Passion for Technology: A passion for tech and solving complex problems.
- Team Player: Highly motivated, effective working independently, and a team player with a can-do attitude.
Other Qualifications (Advantages)
- Product Delivery: Experience with product delivery.
- Argo Workflows: Familiarity with Argo workflows.
- ETL: Experience building data pipelines (ETL).
- Full Stack Development: Full stack experience is a plus.
- Big Data: Hands-on experience with Big Data and Data Pipeline technologies (Airflow, Spark, Kafka, etc.).
- Innovative Problem Solver: Known for delivering streamlined solutions to sophisticated challenges.
