At Deloitte, we provide audit services using an approach designed to provide the flexibility to serve the unique circumstances and complexities of our clients. As a full-time audit professional, you'll design and execute audit procedures based on the client’s business needs, internal controls and risks. You will work cross-functionally with US and Israel Audit team members to deliver exceptional audit services to our US clients.

You will gain exposure to a variety of industries and business models to increase your understanding of how US and multinational organizations operate.

 

As an Audit & Assurance Manager/Sr. Manager, you will oversee multiple engagements and be responsible for helping resolve accounting, auditing, and other matters that arise during the audit process. A leader in the field, you will be supervising and managing services to US clients including preparing audit strategy and budgets.

 

Work you will do

You will use your knowledge and analytical mind-set to audit US client financials, transactions and internal control processes. You’ll work independently and collaboratively with diverse group of talented audit professionals in conjunction with US and International Audit practitioners.

 

You will leverage Deloitte’s cutting-edge audit tools and technologies which use artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, data visualizations and process flow automation to perform data interrogation and analysis of client data to share a dynamic picture that provides meaningful insights to Deloitte clients. You will:

  • Perform audit procedures related to clients’ financial statements
  • Train and mentor audit teams, providing them with developmental feedback and career guidance
  • Perform analysis on client data and document testing procedures performed
  • Research accounting & auditing matters and document conclusions
  • Provide timely client service, deliver high quality work and strengthen client relationships
  • Process flow automation to perform data analysis of client data
  • Leverage artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, and data visualizations
  • Identify, prepare and participate in proposals for new clients and projects
  • Supervise, develop and motivate staff, including counseling and career guidance
  • Drive the delivery of services in a timely and effective way, exceeding our clients’ quality expectations
  • Actively monitor and manage engagement economics such that revenue is recognized appropriately throughout the engagement

Requirements

 Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (e.g. Business, Finance, Economics)
  • IL CPA, European CPA, ACCA, or CA designation
  • Fluency in English; Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills, including leading meetings and presentations in English.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage engagement economics, budgets, and effectively communicate results of work performed.
  • Ability to work effectively in a virtual environment. 
  • 5+ years of work experience with a regional or international accounting firm (Big Four)

Preferred:

  • Master of Science in Accounting, Business, or related field
  • Experience with PCAOB and/or AICPA Audits
  • Understanding of broad business & technical (US GAAP) knowledge
  • Proven leadership skills demonstrating strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
