Data Architect

Deloitte Data & AI , a part of Deloitte Israel consulting practice, is looking for a Hands-On Senior Data Architect to work on our massive data processing and help us deliver more insights from our tens of billions of events. 

Description:

• Join a team that aims to design and build the biggest data solutions and platforms for the biggest customers.
• Our Senior Data Architect will lead the design and implementation of such projects as well help in data strategy consulting for our customers.
• We look for strong individuals with solid and hands-on background and experience to grow together.

• 10+ years experience, bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or similar
• Hands-on, well rounded Data Architect with proven track experience in designing and building data solutions at scale (preferably on cloud).
• Mastering Data technologies and cloud data solutions (Master level knowledge/experience on one cloud at least, good knowledge for the rest)
• Capable of designing production ready data solutions end to end – while addressing Performance, Scalability, High Availability, Reliability, Quality/Observability, Security, Orchestration, Tracking, Audit and FinOps
• In depth knowledge and experience with Data Lakes (Databricks – big plus), Data Warehouses (Snowflake/BigQuery), SQL/ No-SQL Solutions, Data Pipelines and ETLs
• Master level programming skills in one of the leading languages – python/Scala/java
• Cloud and non-cloud certifications – important to us and a big plus. Willing to achieve relevant certs in short time.
